We show Gilts (female pigs). Gilts will be purchased from a breeder or sale from Late August to Early October. Email Ms. Murray if you're interested in showing! AMurray@GainesvilleISD.org

Gilts cost $500-1000 to lease or purchase. We will lease from breeders, and purchase from sales. If you purchase your gilt, you will need to set a date with a packer at the end of the season (2 weeks after our last show, date TBD). 

Gilts will cost between $1000-1500 for feed, supplies, etc. (Total budget for the project: $1500-2500)
